Congratulations to Kayla, the new league record holder in the Novice (8 & under) 25yd Backstroke with a time of 17.00. Notably, the previous record of 17.31 was set in 2014 by CYO legend Tess Howley, who went on to become one of the top swimmers in the country and a finalist at the 2024 USA Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. She'd better watch out though... Kayla is hot on her heels! 

OLAN Boys defend their title as Brooklyn Champions and A-Division Silver medalists, this time coming within just 6 points of the overall #1 spot - the closest we've ever been.

Congratulations to Tagai, Ryden, Khalid, and Caiden for breaking the league record in the Senior (13-14) 100yd Medley Relay with a time of 51.28

There's something of a history to this record... Back in 2021, the record in this event had stood untouched for over thirty years at 54.80, until in a rare triple-whammy, it was broken in a single day by three different teams: OLAN, SEBS, and AOK, with AOK coming out on top at 51.90. Now, our boys have done what seemed impossible just a few years ago and pushed the bar even further, taking the medley relay crown for their own!
